Unlikely as YouTube and regular internet browsing is working.

Some manufacturers only support the apps installed on their TV's for a short period , so it could be the version of the app is so old that it won't work anymore, you could try updating the apps (if the TV has the option to do this) but you may have to do this after you have an aerial connected and ran the initial set-up.

this application requires the tv to be tuned in and connected to the internet. Please check your connections and settings.’
The answer is in your post.

You have Freeview Play and you will need connection to a terrestrial aerial to access the linked apps.
Note: Before attempting to connect to the Freeview Play platform, make also sure that BBC and ITV channels are installed. Otherwise connecting to the platform will not be available.

Proper advice can be given if you tell us the make and model of the TV...
But I think molerat has it right. The apps only work through the built in Freeview Play tuner, and you are trying to run it through the Sky box satellite tuner. Presumably the TV does not have an additional Freesat tuner too?
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Do you mean this from post#4

    It’s a bush tv. Model Dled32287hdcntdfvp
  • I believe this TV only has one tuner? If it does not have a F Type connection on the back (screw in) it is not freesat so will not be able to process signals from your satellite dish.
