I made some chocolate brownies this evening and cut them into 16 small squares. I ate 5 and I feel a bit sick.
I made flatbread yesterday with some butter bean hummus. Flatbreads were so easy same weight of yoghurt to flour, a little bit of baking powder and rolled out and finished in a hot pan. Really tasty.0 -
Chocolate brownies. The tray was cut into 16 pieces of which I had 1. My children aka the gannets polished off the rest! ( I do have a large family, not overly greedy children!)paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

But one 400g loaf of (Asda) bakery bread, YS for 10p.
Dice into cubes, cover and allow to go stale for 48 hours. Douse with olive oil, salt and pepper and then roast in the oven. The result is the most delicious croutons for not very much money (ok the olive oil isn't cheap but so worth it!). Stored in an airtight container, they are still perfectly crispy and crunchy 5 days laterValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
