No one is to put their s3x toys through the dishwasher, for ANY reason.
Strange, but perfectly sensible.
After all, you don't want to be worrying when you're making a vindaloo that your washing-up might later kill a night's romance for a housemate.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

Not to change telephone number
To get the landlord's permission before changing utility supplier
To only switch to energy suppliers which provide fully renewable energy
The estate agent refusing to remove clearly inapplicable clauses, like those on non-existent water softeners, gardens, terraces, alarms, etc
Not to register for council tax (then bailiffs showed up at the door to chase council tax arrears!)0 -
I once lived in a very large basement flat shared with another guy. He had a big kitchen that I wasn't renting part of but we did chat in it. The owner lived above and let me know one of her rules was we weren't to talk to each other in case she could hear us!0

My daughter has just rented a place that said no drying of clothes internally or externally !!!!!!???? They hadn't provided a tumble dryer just a washing machine so god knows how they thought they could dry the clothes. They have ignored this clause.0

"Cats were once worshipped as gods; cats have never forgotten this."
"Dogs look up to us, cats look down on us and pigs treat us as equals."
Red-Squirrel, I think you may need to assimilate the fact that cats are a higher form of life... Just sayin'. <Ducks>

My friend rented the ground floor flat of a three story house of one of her workmates. They had converted it into a bedsit type thing for her. However, this only consisted of a small cooking area and a living room space. The shower and bath facilities...she had to go upstairs and use them whilst they were out!! The woman of the house also kept the washing machine and tumble dryer in this downstairs 'flat' letting herself in at all hours to do washing, and walking past my friend asleep in bed! Even going so far as to comment on the fact that my friend was being lazy and why was she still in bed at 11 on a Saturday.
My friend paid £400 a month for this! Needless to say it lasted no more than two and I helped her do a moonlight flit, and also shopped her into the council for renting out the space without the right facilities.0
