Internet advert scams

I am constantly getting these scam adverts when I’m on safari, normally it’s eBay that I am on and all of a sudden a pop up advert appears diverting me off my page and instigating that I am. Prize winner,,. Has any one else experienced these adverts ? I am just worried I’ve been hacked

Yeah I get it randomly on my iPad. Just pops in on certain web pages, usually newspapers, claiming I've won an iPhone or similar. I just close the page, it's not a virus0

I get it on my iPad when browsing eBay, I just hit the back button0

Yes, it is normally eBay, suggesting I have won an iPhone , google spot prize winner. Sooo frustrating, I thought I had been hacked. All my settings are cleared, and I have my settings on secure on the highest security etc with my iPad .0
