I had to put the heating on for the first time yesterday. It's only August, what a joke. Last year it was November when I first put the heating on. I think the long heat wave has made me soft. There has definitely been a very sudden drop in temperature the last couple of days.0

Just a tad chilly this evening.So I lit the stove with a few pieces of wood.Just enough to heat the iron.0

The living room got down to 16C the other day so I put a fan heater on for 10mins to get it above 17C. Even got my electric foot warmer out too. Glad the sun is back out for a while today to warm the place back up.0
