DRP fine - do I pay, please help

Sorry to start a new thread but I have tried reading through the newbies parking fine advice and as there is a lot of information, I got a bit overwhelmed and wasn’t sure what to do still.
I parked in Sainsburys car park in May this year and over stayed the allotted time (I was nearly 39 weeks pregnant and had to find a loo urgently and I ended up having my daughter 4 days later). I never received an initial fine through the post, Euro parking owns this car park and now I have received a parking charge notice from DRP, I have been away but it was posted a week ago. It stated I was sent the initial fine to my old address which was from my log book, I had recently moved and had only changed my driving lisence and not my log book and said they have traced my new address to the one they have posted this fine to. I spoke to Sainsburys who said they can’t help me as the fine has been sold on to DRP. I spoke to euro parking who said the same. I’m nervous to call DRP as then am I admitting I am liable?
They have stated I now need to pay £130 by today (only just seen the letter myself) and if I don’t they will take further action.
From what I have read most thread say not to pay, but I am concerned as I don’t want to end up with a greater fine. I would have paid the initial fine as I was late to my car but as I never received the initial fines I wasn’t aware I had got one. I wasn’t sure if I should just call up and pay that amount, ignore it, or pay the amount they have issued. Also, what will happen if I don’t pay.
I would appreciate any advice.

It's only the DRP mobsters, no you don't owe £130
it's their fake add-on.
POWERLESS DRP ...... IGNORE THE MOBSTERS
DRP CAN DO NOTHING
PAY TODAY :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

AMAZING that SAINSBURY'S can tell such lies to you
DRP CANNOT BUY THE DEBT FROM EURO
EURO CANNOT SELL THE DEBT
Ignore the DRP idiots and do what half_way says0 -
Euro parking owns this car park
its moret than likely owned by Sainsburys, who in turn have Euro acting as their agents.
complain to Sainsburys, state you were pregnant, covered by the Equality act, and they must instruct their agents to cancel this charge. From the Plain Language Commission:

I had recently moved and had only changed my driving lisence and not my log book and said they have traced my new address to the one they have posted this fine to.
2. Have you changed your V5C (logbook) yet? Possibly a real fine coming your way from the DVLA. Get on with it.I spoke to Sainsburys who said they can’t help me as the fine has been sold on to DRP. I spoke to euro parking who said the same.
2. Did you complain to local Sainsburys or to their HO? Did you tell them that if they can't help a loyal customer (copy back issues of bank/cc statements or old receipts/Nectar card number) then they can kiss goodbye forever to your custom. Carry out your threat!Euro parking owns this car parkI’m nervous to call DRPThey have stated I now need to pay £130 by today (only just seen the letter myself) and if I don’t they will take further action. Also, what will happen if I don’t pay.
Now go and read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #4 about how to deal with debt collectors. After reading it all, you will arrive at a single word answer. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

that car park is not , repeat not owned by EP , more likely that Sainsburys own it
saisnburys told lies if they said the alleged debt has been sold to DRP, it has been passed by ECP onto DRPL for collection, but not sold on at all
its not allowed to be SOLD ON , the alleged debt is owed by you to EP
DRP are only a debt collector and have no powers to take this any further, all they can do is send threatening letters , then refer it back to their client EP and that means they wong get their addon fee (awwww shame - no win , no fee)
EP could try a court claim within 6 years, using MCOL
as mentioned above, complain to the SAINSBURYS ceo and cite the EA2010 AND INSIST ON A CANCELLATION, that is your best option
AND TO AVOID A £1000 "FINE" FROM THE DVLA , ENSURE THAT THE v5c HAS BEEN UPDATED TO YOUR CURRENT ADDRESS asap0 -
As above, you must inform sainsburys of your condition at the time,From the Plain Language Commission:

Get this pinched in the bud right now
Send this email to the CEO
Mr Mike Coupe Chief Executive
Email mike.coupe@sainsburys.co.uk
Dear Sir
Recently while shopping at your store located at xxxxxx
I received a parking ticket NO xxxxx from your agent Euro Parking
At the time I was 39 weeks pregnant and as you are
fully aware, I have rights under the Equalities Act EA2010
I overstayed because I was in urgent need of the toilet
I am now being harassed by debt collectors called DRP
who have increased the charge to £130. They are
threatening me on the instructions of Euro Parking.
Euro Parking are your agent. Euro Parking have no
desire to manage your car park other than to collect
money by use of threatening letters
Even more worrying, I contacted your store and was
told there is nothing they can do as the debt has
been sold to DRP ?
As you employ Euro, I must assume you are fully
aware that a private parking company is not permitted
to sell a so called debt to a third party such as DRP.
Why did your staff tell me that when it's simply not true
I am not impressed with this poor level of service from
Sainsbury's. You will know that you are jointly responsible
for your agent, and in particular the Equalities Act.
I enclose proof of my purchases with you and request
you instruct your agent to cancel this charge immediately
I await your urgent confirmation
Yours faithfully

You could of course, email euro car parks with details fo your condition, and demand that they cancel the charge, when they refuse you will have further ammunition against Sainsburys, as their agents, for whose actions Sainsburys are liable for are ignoring the Equality act, which also drops sainsburys in it somewhat. From the Plain Language Commission:

I'm not sure the EA 2010 applies to pregnant women, only to breastfeeding mothers. Happy to be corrected. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

It does give limited maternity provision to pregnant ladies and 39 weeks is ready to drop! She just needs to complain as beamerguy said, to the CEO of Sainsburys by email.
Threaten to contact the national newspapers if it is not cancelled, and call Sainsburys and their agent out for the untruth, that this is a 'debt' (it isn't) that was sold (it wasn't).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks everyone for your help and advice. I really appreciate it and I will get in touch with sainsbury’s as you have suggested and hope they retract the fine.
Beamerguy, should I explain in the email to thr CEO the reason I didn’t manage it before receiving the DRP fine is because it was initially sent to my old addresss? Because I probably would have paid the initial £35 if I had received it, or should I just ask for the whole fine to be recinded because of my condition at that time?
Also what evidence would you include to show proof of purchases, I don’t always use my nectar card and I use different cards to pay for shopping, personal and joint account.0
