If they are just for work try an industrial shoe supplier.

My Daughter used to work in a KFC and with all the oil around normal shoes lasted 3 months, we went to Arco and bought some food industry footware and they lasted years.

They are normally quite wide but you can try them on.

    Example:

    ARCO: Ladies Food Industry Footwear

You will have to add VAT to any prices you see.
  • There is an new website which specializes in wide fitting shoes for both Ladies and Men. It has free delivery and a no quibble guarantee. Its URL is www.wideshoes4u.co.uk. They have both casuals and court shoes in E to EEEEEE fitting for Ladies and F to H fittings for Men.
  • I bought 2 pairs of flatties from evans today for £5 a pair. They always have a good stock of larger sizes too. Good luck!

    I am size 8 Wide!!

I have tried many shoes - ECCO ones were really comfy but VERY expensive and grannyish...

Hush Puppies - didnt suit my feet ....

I have some shoe tailor ones - they always feel really tight when they arrive even in the largest width fitting but soon ease up. These are my 'rainy day shoes'

CROCS - YES YES YES they are amazing!! SOOOOOOOOOOO comfortable - i find the beach ones more comfy than mary janes but the mary janes look nicer and are still more comfy than my old shoes. Only problem is when it rains and i have my back up shoe tailor ones! I have three pairs of crocs (mary jane red, black and beach black) I often look for deals on them so they dont work out much dearer than the shoes i used to buy (ecco £60 and so i can get 2 pairs of crocs for that) not everyones taste but i bought them on comfort alone after reading other peoples exp on the net.
Debt free May 2016 (without the support of MSE forum users that would never have been possible - thank you all)

Emotion shoes are also good and are stocked in independent retailers round the country. Their sales and special offers are excellent
