Looking to delete the Facebook and all data and its naughty tracking - help!
While visiting this page, Facebook, under related pages section, throws up ads/recommendations for the town I currently am in - !!!!!!!
Have you ever visited the page whilst not connected to VPN? If yes then your local IP address will have been seen (HTTP-X-FORWARDED-FOR?) and it's possible that the geographical location of that IP address is in your town.
If you want to totally avoid facebook, don't comment on any of the blogs on the non-forum part of this site. MSE uses facebook's comment plug in that needs a facebook account to post. (was hilariously ironic seeing people using their facebook account to denounce fb on the blogs re Martin suing Facebook).
