Looks like they are very desperate for additional revenues as they’ve got rid of the free 55 x 40 x 20cm bag allowance. This change will catch people out and they’ll be lots of heated discussions because the gate fee fine is €25 if your bag is oversized.

Booking before the end of August won't help as you still have to pay for priority boarding or to put luggage in the hold. The only difference if you book prior to 1st September is that you can cancel for a full refund if you don't want to pay for luggage.0
