Well here I am, back again after a lapse!
New year, new me and all that.
I am determined that this year is the year I get a grip on my finances once and for all!
I have put my figures into a debt calculator to get a date free date and if I snowball it is September 2021. I am determined to try and get that closer

So depressing to see bigger numbers than in August. Bloody Christmas.
This is it now though, onwards and downwards - for the debt that it!!

Our Christmas tree broke as we were putting it up this year. It was already held together with string and this year it is very unstable.
I have just treated myself to a half price pre-lit one ready for next year.

So I have had a small breakthrough with my debt free journey.
Surprisingly I have been accepted for a credit card with 0% balance transfer for 29 months.
This enables me to transfer the bulk of my debt - 2 credit cards - onto interest free. Great news!
This will mean I can hammer the other two debts that are accruing interest much more quickly.
I will update my signature again when the card comes through.

The 0% is a massive boost

I think paying the interest on money we have already spent hurts more.
At least every penny will be bring the total tumbling down
