Hello everyone
I haven't posted for a while for various reasons. I wanted to keep a lower profile for a bit on my diary in case someone spotted me.
DH took the kids out for the day last weekend, so that was nice and I had a day to myself. I got very busy and had a good tidy upWe have some more clear spots now :T :T Nothing big, but it makes a difference to me
DH is off next week so he is planning sorting out loads of stuff for ebay. I hope he makes a difference. I'm off the following week so hope to do a bit more then.
Now the mornings are starting to get a bit lighter (well they were until the clocks changed) I have restarted couch to 5k. I'll finish week 1 tomorrow, but did an extra run last week before I restarted properly. I hope to finish this time! I got almost to the end last time, just 2 runs to go and then I hurt my back which stopped me. I was very annoyed that I didn't finish it. Hoping it will help with my weightloss which has stalled at the momentAll my own fault though. I have to give up chocolate as I clearly can't control myself around it  Hoping for a maintain today, not a gain
Little jwil was ill last Sunday, so I spent Mother's day scrubbing and bleaching, happy days! Luckily I had kept their room tidy so it was easier to clean :j
I've redone my SOA and I think I am starting to see the light. It's all still very tight, but should be ok once little miss starts school next year. I know it's still 17 months away, but it just seems in sight now. Then hopefully I can get rid of these debts once and for all and start living and having some savings!
I've got my MOT and service next week, need to look out the log book and the service book. Luckily I know exactly where they areI am a bit nervous as it's the first one since I bought it, but DH doesn't think there should be anything, apart from perhaps a number plate as it was an advisory last time for being faded.
The meds still seem to be working. Still tired in the morning, but it's a novelty actually sleeping! Back to the docs next week and hopefully that will be it for a while."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Sounds like the change to spring has had a great impact on you as ever
same with me. I think a lot of us are this way. I also think that getting somewhere with the house is clearing the mind mess too. You're doing so well!
Just wondering what your tracker rate looks like? I'm getting twitchy about my fixed coming to an end. Could you lock in now? Would it save you money for your budget? I know you like to overpay but I don't know of any mortgages that don't allow 10% overpayments each year and I don't think you'd exceed that. Would it help your budget to know how much it'll be?
Sounds like you're on top of Easter. Keep up the great work xxxLoan 1 £5200/£8000

Thanks KittenThe spring definitely makes a difference, though it's cold and grey today
I'm happy with my mortgage as it isWe're on a good enough rate and I don't think they will increase that quickly. I've got a level in my mind for it to reach before I fix it again and it's nowhere near that yet.

Thanks Brizzle, you too"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Little jwil has been out doing junior parkrun this morning :T Little miss and I were cheering him on and then they went to the park after. I finally remembered to buy some icing tubes so they've been decorating some gingerbread that's been here since Christmas. Does that count as decluttering?
DH sold a big item on ebay, so that's great that it's gone but it will be a pain to pack and post! My big lot also sold for the full price, so happy with that :j"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Love it when kids want to get into these park runs, its so good for them. Yes, I think using up the gingerbread men definitely counts as de cluttering. I have been getting rid of a few bits that weren't fit to sell, by putting on a FB page that is all about recycling and reusing etc, so members give away stuff rather than take it to CS. Makes me feel good as I am decluttering as well as helping somebody out.DMP 2015 £57,549, now £36,112 (37% paid)
