I know, it's such a pain. Luckily my details are saved now so I don't have to do it all again.retiredandskint wrote: »I hate doing price comparison but it certainly paid off. Since becoming debt free i do put money aside each month for car related expenses. After years of paying over the odds and panicking every time a car related bill came in is priceless in itself.
Hope you are feeling better jwil. On a positive note not too far from the shortest day and then we can look forward to lighter nights.
Mr Retired is declining quite fast and now needs a wheelchair when out. I have carers in twice a day to help and I get extra hours Tuesdays and Thursdays so manage to get time out. It costs a fortune tho but I can't manage on my own any more. He had three falls yesterday afternoon, fortunately he didn't seriously hurt himself.
How's the decluttering going I'm failing and clutter seems to be building up again. I've given up with eBay now and give anything that's good to charity after daughter in law has rummaged through it first :rotfl:
Hi Retired, lovely to hear from you.
There is something very satisfying about knowing you've got the money for something. Hopefully I can start getting there next year.
I am sorry to hear about Mr Retired, I am so glad you have got some help and manage to get some time out. I know it's expensive but it will be priceless for you.
We are getting there with the decluttering, I can see some improvement now :T
I am soo looking forward to the warmer weather and lighter nights again :rotfl:"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
