I've given the bathroom a good clean this morning, pulled everything out, cleaned all the tiles and the bin, got the towels and the shower curtain in the wash. It is amazing how much easier and quicker it is to do these things without all the clutter and also when I keep on top of it all!
I've decided to get rid of the loo roll holder. We have no need for it really and it keeps having a little puddle of wee underneath it when little jwil's aim is out! The airing cupboard where they are stored is right next to the toilet, so there's no real need to have them on display! It's leftover from our previous house where there was no cupboard in the bathroom. It's only taken me 9 years to figure out we don't really need it :rotfl:"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I made a start on photos this afternoon. At long last! I've got rid of one photo album which is ruining the photos and 77 photos gone so far. The youth of today don't know how lucky they are to be able to see and edit photos immediately :rotfl: Still a long way to go, but I've been putting it off for a couple of years!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Thank you, I'm just doing the easy wins at the moment - blurry, rubbish, out of focus ones. The rest will be harder!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
DH and little miss have insect bites on their legs. I've given the whole house a good hoovering and am going to buy some flea spray later. It shouldn't be that, as both the cat and dog are treated, but I've got a bit paranoid.
I've cleared out under the beds to hoover underneath them, and have decluttered the old cot mattress and cover. I've also gone through a lot of my stuff that was under the bed - didn't realise there was so much! I've displayed my wedding flowers (I had silk), no point in them rotting in a box, might as well enjoy them!
I've had another go at photos. They are all together now. I have so many, it's going to be such a huge job! I've had a quick go through and pulled out the obvious ones to go, but they need proper sorting so I can go through and get rid of the duplicates and the ones which are very similar. Then I want to try and make a sort of scrapbook for holidays along with the other souvenirs I've kept. I'll have to think about how to do that as I'm not in the least creative!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
