  • The machine in question only allows enter of the number element - there are no letters available. The driver stated this in the response to Popla and now awaiting for the outcome

You need a picture of that machine, showing the keypad arrangement and instructions, before they change it.

that information should have been put into the original post #1

it took a long time to get to the bottom of the issues involved . whereas the time could have been better spent advising you on your short rebuttal to be copied into the popla portal

you should be combing their evidence pack for any and all issues and highlighting those in your rebuttal

frustration of contract seem to be an issue here due to the keypad entry system, so include that as part of the rebuttal and get photos of that machine as well (which should have been put into the appeal to popla as evidence)

I think you may be giving advice that is too late for the OP to use as it appears that he has already submitted his appeal to POPLA.

The OP is at the stage of rebutting the operator's submission to PoPLA.

I'm sure Redx knows that. ;)

I stand by what I said

the OP already said they had appealed to popls

so as KeithP says above, the next stage at popla is smart give popla their evidence pack and the OP has 7 days to read it and issue a 2000 character rebuttal on the popla portal

the OP said they had mentioned this machine entry issue to popla in their appeal, so should comment on it in their rebuttal to popla now that we know what caused this issue (frustration of contract ud ro faulty or inadequate machinery)
