"still pictures were invented decades before moving pictures"
still pictures can easily be taken from moving pictures as all moving pictures are made up from still pictures the pictures they have supplied are not just ANPR the ticket I bought can be seen on the dashboard thro the windscrean !0 -
they could have had a CEO onsite using a handheld camera to take still pictures
you seem to be fixated on CCTV, but in the 6 years I have been coming here, NO private parking case has involved CCTV and it was outlawed for council cases a few years ago
there are tens of thousands of cases where ANPR and handheld cameras have been used
but if you want to have tunnel vision about CCTV cameras and ignore what we are telling you then go ahead, but dont expect people to help you when all you wish to do is argue
tell it to a judge0 -

Yes, that sounds about right.
Because of the numerous possibilities of number plate positioning on a vehicle (which itself can be of varying sizes), the camera takes a picture of the whole of the front, or rear, of the vehicle when it spots a number plate.
It is the software behind the scenes that then 'enhances' the number plate.0 -
Why come for advice from people who have been doing this shiite for years, then choose to argue with them, from a seemingly very narrow knowledge base?
I'm done. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

they are not licensed to use CCTV and they would also have to have signs up stating that CCTV recording is in use, plus that type of data gathering would have to be agreed with the ICO for data purposes
if the still pictures are of a dashboard with ticket on it then its a handheld camera held by a parking person employed by the company or possibly somebody on site reporting it to the parking company (local jobsworth) - more likely to be an HX employee going round with a handheld camera
if its an entrance and exit pair of still pictures, its ANPR still cameras in use and sending the pictures back to their HQ
all this talk about CCTV is not getting this any further forward, plus the fact that you can obtain still pictures from video footage is also irrelevant because they are not using and wont have any CCTV footage, none at all
all this arguing with those trying to help you is just putting everybody off and when you shoot the messenger, you are on your own0 -
trust me these are CCTV there was no body around when I parkrd or when I left ! yet my headlights can be clearly seen to be on they selected that still from CCTV
Pity you see this as argument I mistakenly thought this was somewhere I could find help and advise .0 -
trust me , its not , repeat NOT cctv0

Getting involved in a nugatory stalemate is poor use of our time.
Get your proof of CCTV involvement, then come back. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
