Remove car from impound
Hi
i have a car in my name that has been impounded for no insurance, problem is my licence has been revoked and i cannot obviously drive. All the impound insurance i've looked at will only insure the driver on the v5. If i sell the car will the police accept the driver on the v5c/2 new driver supplement ?
Thanks

Do you have a buyer for the car? Why not just call the compound and ask them if a new owner is able to drive it away once you've released it?0 -

He needs to get the police to release it first. To do that he needs insurance and a driver with a licence.0 -
