Received an email from POPLA today.........
Thank you for submitting your parking charge Appeal to POPLA.
An Appeal has been opened with the reference
.
APCOA Parking have told us they do not wish to contest the Appeal. This means that your Appeal is successful and you do not need to pay the parking charge.
Yours sincerely
POPLA Team
Thanks for all the help! I'm glad it's all sorted.
Now to get APCOA to cough up the £15 admin charge I had to pay the leasing company because of this.0 -
well done
APCOA almost always cancel when they see a well drafted popla appeal, especially where POFA2012 does not apply
nore fools that the OS are for allowing them to drop out all the time at nil cost0 -

Cheers, I've already got APCOA to concede they will reimburse me if the ticket wasn't valid when I was dealing with their shoddy online appeals system.
Taking the money off them would be very satisfactory.0 -

Hi
Any advice please on scenario below
A windscreen ticket was issued to my car for parking outside of the marked bay at an APCOA station car park on 19/09. Followed the advice on the newbie thread and waited until 22/10 before putting in the "one size fits all' appeal through the online portal denying liability as registered keeper. This submitted showed as successful (and I have a screen shot of this).
Didn't hear a peep until a letter arrived yesterday (dated 29/01/19). This was a 'notice to driver' and on the reverse it states "We issued a notice to Owner/keeper to the registered keeper of the vehicle at the period of parking specified above. The Owner/Keeper has informed us that you were the driver of the vehicle at the the of the period of parking shown above"
Now clearly this is fiction because as the registered keeper, no such information has been requested or provided. Nor has a POPLA code been issued.
Advice on next steps?0 -
Complain to Steve Clark at the BPA, showing him your appeal and screenshot, as well as the latest letter:

thanks Coupon Mad. I'll certainly do that. Do I still need to get a popla code and get the ticket overturned, as I was hoping that the delay in reply would have meant POPLA would rule in favour as suggested on other threads?0
