Has this ever happened? (OSPS cashback for price match deals)
Just a thought on OSPS & e2save cashback claims for price match deals. Apologies if this looks too silly.
Suppose you purchase a price match deal off OSPS. You take care to keep a copy of everything you send when claiming the 1st cashback, with recorded delivery which is never signed for, say, 10 days after the delivery.
So basically it will be assumed as lost. Then you resend the claim, ordering a copy of the bill and the photocopy ( or even color copy ) of the claim form.
Another look on the the following thing of t&c under the category "Redemption Procedure":
Installment 1: Send us the claim form and original monthly bill showing your name, address, mobile number and tariff you are connected on, that arrives showing you have been connected for 4 months....etc
as well as this which is written the claim form( especially it is paper form sent by welcome pack rather than an email link for you to print out )
When redeeming any cashback you may have, one of the following claims must be attached (photocopies and faxes are not acceptable) to your relevant mobile phone bill, as specified in your welcome pack.
so basically they are asking for original bills and claim form.
You resend the claim with the delivery proof of recorded delivery. my concern is what if OSPS doesn't honour the resent claim, saying that: the delivery proof only proved that the claim form and bills are photocopies thus the claim isn't valid. And they shift the loss of the first delivery onto Royal Mail.
How should I defend myself if it ever happens?

Have RM lost your claim?Gone ... or have I?0 -
Sounds more like someone who hasn't bothered to read the many threads over the last SEVERAL MONTHS about various aspects of it to me!0

I ALWAYS take extra care when sending in an ORIGINAL bill and ONLY use SPECIAL DELIVERY. It's pricey but gives peace of mind and the cashback from Quidco normally covers this.
