You may think not but that's not how it reads. You very good advice but lately you are tending to lecture as well.0 -

If anything unholyangel is the least person to lecture anyone as most regulars here are pretty damm rude imo, and spend more time grammar checking and having a dig than being helpful, hence why I rarely post anymore but still pop on to read posts.
Always helpful and very good consumer law knowledge, I would trust what unholyangel says every time!0 -
Oh and I had to re join as my I couldn't log on recently so I'm not a total newbie but here couple years.0

I thought as it was within the first 30 days, OP wouldn’t have to prove the fault was inherent? As in ANYTHING within the first six months is assumed to be inherent.0

If they're exercising the right to a repair, replacement, price reduction or final right to reject then the 6 month assumption applies. However, there is no such assumption made when exercising the short term right to reject.(14)For the purposes of subsections (3)(b) and (c) and (4), goods which do not conform to the contract at any time within the period of six months beginning with the day on which the goods were delivered to the consumer must be taken not to have conformed to it on that day.
Subsection (3)(a) is the short term right to reject. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
