Parking at my apartment

I just wonder how many MA's around the country
understand this ???
I think this is like most things. Some do and some don't
Our previous MA (one of the biggest in the country) was fairy insistent that a PPC was the only real effective way of dealing with problem parking. Our current MA (medium size and quite major in this part of the world) said they wouldn't touch them unless they absolutely had to - and then with reluctance, because of bad experiences and residents complaining.
It also can depend on your actual property manager, too. Again you get good and bad ones!0 -

I wonder if the accounts of the previous MA showed any significant income from parking charges... haha0 -

To be honest their back office processes were so monolithic I doubt anyone could find it even if it was there!
To get a company approved by them (they wouldn't pay anyone who wasn't - which I understand) took for ever and there were so many hoops to go through. One of our possible contractors gave up because of their endless paperwork and slowness. God knows how a backhander would work in that system.0 -

That is the problem, it would not be put through the books,
such deals work on a handshake and cash or gifts etc
Very difficult to trace and very tempting0 -
I guess on here we see more don'ts than do's
Yep
But, I also guess that on here you see information about a very small percentage of MAs. I've never seen the names of the ones we've used/interviewed/spoken to for example. And two of them are pretty substantial in size.
Like all things (benefits board is a great example) people post with problems and brickbats - they don't generally post with bouquets.0 -
The MA has an online complaints form and I've drafted an email. Please could you let me know your thoughts before I send it?
[replace the x with an s]
httpx://ibb.co/jM5zfzWhat is your complaint
My lease provides me with an allocated parking space for my own use for the address provided with this online form. Over the weekend I received a notice on my windscreen from Comprehensive Management Services Ltd. It said that a parking charge will be issued soon. There is no clause in my Lease that allows for charges to be levied against me for using my parking space. Just as charges cannot be levied against me for using my bath or opening my windows since the Lease has primacy and already grants me these rights.
What would you like us to do
As the landlord I ask that you enforce my right to quiet and peaceful enjoyment of my demised property and inform Comprehensive Management Services Ltd. that they may not operate on my demised property.
Alternatively, provide me with full, un-redacted, documentary evidence that you believe allows Comprehensive Management Services Ltd. to charge me for using my own demised property so that I may consider my position.
Edit: I removed, "as the landlord" before sending. What would you like us to do

Perfect, be interesting to see what they come back with, that's
if they understand0 -
Looks good to me.
The only thing I'd say is that they are not your landlord. Might just be worth leaving the words "as the landlord" out?0
