Airlock - Hor water tap

    The cold water was turned on and went up the hot water tap. That fixed it after a short while.
  • Ballvalves in the cold water feed tank in the loft can scale up aslo the rubber washer goes hard and restricts flow so you use more than is replaced also if the water board have been working in the area you can get debris grit plastic swarf in the ballvale, it could be repair or replace time, and hot water tanks if old can scale up restricting the flow

    The end result was it was an airlock in the hot water valve behind the washing machine, i stupidly had connected the washing machine to the hot water valve......... anyway its all good, used the inlet hose on the hot and cold valves to get the air out and it has done the job.
