So i wrap all this up in a PDF document and upload onto the POPLA site as "other", do i need to add anything else please?0

Hi all, just on the popla website now, could someone please advise do i need to include in my appeal PDF my details including reg number, the parking charge notice number and the popla 10 digit verification code or does that just go on the popla website page. At the moment i have not included those details on the PDF and dont want to get it wrong at this stage. many thanks0

I would have thought so, otherwise if your pdf file is printed off, how would anyone know from it who it's related to if it has no indentifying detail. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I normally add a header so it repeats on every page, just with the POPLA code.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Many thanks to all those who helped and responded to this thread!
I have today received an email from POPLA saying i have won my appeal and that MET will not be contesting my appeal.
Once again i cannot thank you all enough for the helpful advice and the wealth of information on this forum. To anybody else reading this that is caught up in this type of situation from a private parking company, my advice would be not to panic and certainly dont pay, as i almost did - they can be beaten with a small amount of work.0 -
There you go. Great result for you. :T
A PPC not contesting at POPLA is arguably a tacit confession that they had no case to pursue in the first place, but like scammers do, they chance their arm to con people so they can make a fast, easy buck! Clearly they don't like to put any real work into making their money! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Great news!
This was a good example of a long POPLA appeal scaring off MET!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Have POPLA mentioned based on which evidence/argument they cancelled the PPC?
Looks like POFA compliancy was the main point but just wanted to learn as I am about to submit an appeal to POPLA today. In my case, the NTK looks to be POFA compliant. My thread if wondered: hxxp://!!!!!!/2KwhaTZ
