Thought the law changed a while back, and 'parking firms' can issue invoices, and if u don't pay, they add on charges, and eventually, u end up on telly on that "cant pay, we take it away" show ?????

So all BS invoices are enforceable, as I understand that is ??

Have you been in hibernation ?

Suggest you take time out to understand

You have either never had a PCN, never fought one, don't drive or work for one of the Parking scammers. Care to enlighten us?

Watching too many Channel 4/5 programmes! Far too simplistic an analysis. Read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, or read this forum every day for a few months to learn about the much fuller picture. :)

Don't people know how to follow parking rules, and understand customer only car park - happens near me a local Tesco is right next to the shopping centre, I want to go there for shopping - parking full, most are shopping elsewhere.

Suppose no different to those that speed, get caught and moan about it (Yes I go above, when caught it's my fault).

Despite being back to the forum CJD, I note there's no response to the challenges raised to your (ill-founded) assertions.

CJD - now that rings a bit of a (bovine) bell?

Ah right, just got it, Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease! Rather unfortunate initials. :)

"Don't people know how to follow parking rules".

Quite difficult if you are dead unless you can rise like Lazarus. Lady received ticket for overstaying. Reason was that she sadly died whilst shopping. PPC chased her relatives for payment. These are companies with no sense of decency whatsoever. They are absolute vultures.

"I believe some of the people giving advice on the forums work for the Parking companies themselves"

I don't believe that any of the regulars work for parking companies. I did have a non regular ask if they could attend my court case (which hasn't happened yet) which was a bit suspect and the regulars closed that one down straight away.

Yup, no regular here works for a parking company
We are honest, sincere and trustworthy

Parking companies use down and outs, thugs, and non humans
who actually belong behind bars in a zoo.
Same as the debt collectors and very dodgy legals

Soon they'll be issuing "fines" because you "drove past a bit slower than most traffic and dared to look into the car park ... and we thought you'd be parking, so reserved you a space. You failed to use that space, but we're still charging you".

Parking Ticket Appeals - the original one - is claiming on twitter to have saved over £1 million in parking charges since 2014!

Hey, you are back, have you given up working
    for that parking company ?

    That is quite a number.

if this is year on year increase, clearly parking companies management styles are lacking somewhat.

no wonder Parking Eye was sold off for what was it £235m?
