Hi folks
How and why we take action is all included in our Forum Rules.
To be absolutely clear, my Forum Team staff (NOT Board Guides who can't see reports) are asked NOT to focus too much time on boards that don't save people money.
They may remove a post or thread from non-MoneySaving boards after one single report, they may remove a post or thread after several reports.
Whether they're removed from non-MoneySaving boards depends on many factors so actions will never appear consistent e.g., we receive reports asking us why we haven't already removed a post or thread. That report may be the first one about it.
The Forum Team only take action as a result of a report.
If you're a regular on the Discussion Time board you will probably notice posts being removed a lot. If you're a regular on MoneySaving boards you may not notice it so much.
I hope that helps answer!

What about all the threads being removed that aren't against the forum rules you linked to?It's nothing , not nothink.0 -
I think the explanation goes a long to explaining people being PPR'd for relatively trivial offences due to similar criteria being applied.0

Board guides can close threads. I notice that in DT subjects even with the word 'Israel' in them somewhere get closed almost immediately. Coincidentally, that country/subject is also one of the board guides 'topics of interest' shall we say.
here, for example, is a thread about crocodiles!

The rules in themselves are fine however many threads recently have been deleted without breaking those rules, that's what is annoying people. It's nothing , not nothink.0 -
