I'll be doing an oil change on this car soon, maybe even tonight time & weather depending.
Does anyone here know the torque setting as all I find when searching online is lots of replies of 'hand tight' but no figure.
I prefer to just do it to a number. What's your hand tight? Likely different to mine as mine always tends to go too far so it's easier to just go to a number. One must exist and someone must know i'd imagine?

Use a new plug/ washer and secure to the manufactures specification with dry threads.
If you're going to refit the existing plug consider a new washer.Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0 -
2ft handle and a 3ft length of scaffolding tube onto that and heave as hard as you can. Appears to be about right for most oil changes it seems.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

Stuff like sump plugs I tighten up finger tight, and then do up "snug" with a spanner held "short" sort of over the plug or nut. Checks out about right with a torque wrench.0 -
How is the Helicoil agency going these days?

Helicoil requires work, a new sump is the better option for the customer. OK it may cost more but..
You need to do them really tight otherwise the engine may fall outCensorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
