Just popping in

Gentle hugs to Mr & MrsTA (((hugs)))
Am awaiting a call from the CS re furniture collection - only been chasing them for 2 months
DH is busy doing carpentry things for me - a folding table for shed & a raised ‘’table bed’ for the herbs I am going to grow :rotfl: He is also painting shed ceiling. Once that is done he will lay the rubber matting & put up the shelving & hooks :T I am keeping him busy whilst I laze around :rotfl: or just potter :rotfl:
Once call received from CS I will have a bath, do some washing & transcribe some recipes rather than having them in 3 different books
Hope everyone has as good a day as possible

I am having a quiet day as I spent most of Saturday and Sunday with older dd and her sisters helping out a bit with the new baby. She is exhausted as baby had problems with tongue tie and feeding. Have found a recipe for lactation cookies which are supposed to help so will bake those tomorrow as well as a huge tray of skinny lasagne which can be portioned up and frozen.

I agree with the other comments about contacting your gp or social services and asking for help as you will drive yourself into the ground without help and you need your strength, sleep etc.
Made some porridge for breakfast and had a late lunch of bacon, egg and tomatoes with a piece of toast. Tonight will be sausage and mash with some portioned up for tomorrow as a grocery delivery is due in the morning so I can get down to cooking and baking.Middle dd is picking me up around seven a.m. on Thursday and driving me to older dd and baby to stay over till Friday as SIL is back at work.
Hugs to all0 -
Afternoon - my day has been both good and productive. Makes a lovely change.
Before I left home this morning I did a cold wool wash and hung out the clothes. Then went to the bank, into college, chatted, did some work, had lunch, chatted some more, went shopping for beetroot, came home, took in the dry washing and sat down.

We are seeing the GP tomorrow so will see if he can hurry along the Macmillan referral. I had to cancel the OT's visit when Mr TA was in hospital but they rang today to rearrange it. Now due Thursday. My main hope is they will be able to help with something to make bathing/showering easier. The initial appointment we had held some hope about that! I am fine with getting him up, washed and dressed in the morning but access to the shower would be preferable to a bed bath! No doubt in time we will need some help but, in the meantime, I am coping well enough. Bless him, he isn't much bother.

TA I hope the GP can pull some strings and get things moving for you. Good job Mr TA isn't any bother as I would offer to come up and sort him out / box his ears :rotfl:. Keep your chin up lovely 'cos I know it isn't much fun at present. I am sending virtual love and support to you both.
nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0
