Computer urber fast....but can't for the life of me get BT Super Hub to connect! Have a windows 7 PC downstairs......issues with temperamental USB socket on XP PC, so that may or may not work.
Does anyone know of any BT wizard or similar that I can download to USB.....or if easy enough & not to take up too much of forum posters valuable time an easy step by step guide to get it working? Fine on hard wired Windows 7 downstairs & wireless. Out later on so may not be able to reply straight away. Thanks if anyone can help!
If it is 12/13 then change the router temporarily to 1-114.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Aint no sunshine ☀️ Octopus gas fixed dec 24 @ 5.74 tracker again+ Octopus Intelligent Flux leccy0 -

Found thisHere are some steps you can try. Open 'Control Panel' and go to the 'Networking and Sharing Center' select 'Manage wireless networks' and click on 'Adapter properties', click on 'Configure' and then click on 'Advanced' then select 'Country Region (2.4GHz)' and in the Value Box Select '#1(1-13)'.4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . XP was very awkward for wifi until (I think) SP2 and above..I seem to remember it couldn't do WPA2 until later builds... and drivers were very often an issue for ethernet ports. Usually ended up having to download the installer on another pc and then port over via usb stick.........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -

Just copy the files you want to back up. The C:\Users\<yourusername>\ directory is probably worth backing up, as it contains a lot of user settings and files.
If you're going to stick with XP, and have a Pro license, it might be worth downloading all the hotfixes and building an XP installation CD with all the latest updates pre-installed with nLite:

If you're looking for Windows Updates for XP, most are available here:
