Will do a more specific Google search.... Mechanic however seemed sure it was behind glove box? Will report back!
  • If you search fiesta diesel 2006 pollen filter location it gives a couple of videos showing it, although the ones in them are left hand drive but my Fiesta had it in the same place, behind the glove box was just the Fuse Box and various Relays and Bluetooth module

Well.....cheap Tesco fuel 50 ml Cetane additive ( might as well use as have a litre of it!), per 50l diesel.

Not even 1/4 tank used on 'stop/start' (mainly....a little 1 junction motorway driving) driving......nearly 100 miles! Car is urber quiet....probably ECU work affects this & improves performance/quietens engine....but well pleased.

Will update on next full tank fill up! Thanks for your help/advice!:j

Also pollen filter replaced FOC in service. Now....fingers crossed now I have genuine 'o' ring replacements for air con.....getting fixed/gassed this am....it should FINALLY work lol!
  • I know most people say there is no difference between fuel from normal garages and supermarkets, but there has to be a difference.

In my Mondeo 2 litre diesel I got a 43mpg readout day in, day out. But one day, I filled up at Morrisons and that readout immediately dropped to 37mpg. When I filled her up next time with Esso fuel, the reading went back to 43mpg.

Make of that what you will, but I never put Morrisons fuel in my cars.

Excellent. We can now put this well trodden argument to bed once and for all, based on your 3 tank fulls of diesel from 2 garages that you drove your car <somewhere> in <some weather> in <some traffic conditions>.

Do the test blind - as in, get someone else to fill it up, and see how far each tank takes you...
