Warning: Together Energy ignoring Ombudsman rulings

  • I have been contacted by a Together Energy sales person saying they were recommended by MSE and he could save me over £300 by switching to Together Energy. He then attempted to get me to set up an account and password. When I told him I would not do so until I'd checked the company out and that he should email me his quote, he meandered on about how that would waste 28 days and the tariffs he was offering would be different by then so I should set up to switch as I could always withdraw in the cooling off period. I told him I would not do so and he became very abrupt so I told him to end the call. I consider he was Cold Calling me and attempting to railroad me into switching - A proper company would nit be using such tactics. They should be investigated for these pressure sales tactics.
