Changing a child arrangement order for new job
Comments

Go back to court, explain why a change is necessary and come up with a better alternative than you have now.
3 extra weeks during holidays - don't be daft.0 -
If I've read this correctly you want your ex to look after your child every Thursday and incur the associated additional child care costs for that day in exchange for you looking after your child for an extra three weeks of school holidays.
So in summary you've recognised that the new job means you'll have less quality time with your child, so you've come up with a plan that restores your quality time...at the expense of your ex losing her quality time. To rub salt in her wounds she will incur additional childcare costs too!
Would you honestly agree to this suggestion if the situation was reversed?
You've taken another job for the extra money so sort out the childcare to accommodate your new role. You are 'paying' for the extra money from your new job with time...less quality time with your child! You need to come to terms with this or stay in your current job.0 -

Looking at the replies , you have really been told off!
I don't envy your position.
Who'd have thought having children is one big fine and loath?0 -
Is your partner allowed (by courts or ex) to help with childcare?Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0

You need to arrange and pay for childcare on the Thursday and Friday until you or your partner can collect them from their childcare.0

There is no harm in going back to court and asking for amendment. Things change in life. The worst they can say is no.
Also, if your partner can pick up let the child spend quality time with the partner then. Let them bond.0
