Pcp end of term charges
So I have a PCP agreement with citreon which comes to an end in February. Due to my financial situation I will not be keeping the car and I am concerned what additional charges I will incur. The car is in good condition except for a large tear in the carpet below the pedals where my feet go .. which I think is not acceptable for a car of this age (3 years) I have had 1 service which was done at Kwik fit and am worried I will get charged for not using the main dealer. I also know that any charges that are incurred I cannot pay them in one go so would they have to come to some kind arrangement with a payment plan. So confused and stressed any advice is welcome.

No need to be stressed, you've got 6 months to sort the issues out with car starting with getting the carpet repaired as they will no doubt charge you for this.
What is the normal service schedule for this car and have you followed it?
You need to read the terms and conditions of your agreement to see what it says about using a non manufacturer backed garage to carry out the service. You may find that they could in fact make a charge for this, which could be quite a sum.0 -
Thanks for your reply .. Contract says service to be done at dealership or approved supplier which I’m not sure if kwik fit are. I know there is still 6 months but I am not exactly flush with money so am concerned it’s goimg to be an expensive repair for the carpet. I am worried that I will end up owing thousands! I wish I had never got into this contract0

Oh and forgot to say says service should be done in line with manufacturers guidelines which I think is every year ... I have had one service and will have another one before I give the car back0

You can pay the balloon, and keep the car, then you won't be charged anything.
It may be worth doing this, as you are probably going to want another car anyway.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
(except air quality and Medical Science)

Cant afford the balloon payment and can!!!8217;t finance it. So basically have to come to some kind of payment plan to pay the additional costs0

re the carpet, just put a set of rubber mats or carpet mats in, see if you can buy 2nd hand of ebay or scrapyard. They wont check under the mats, at least when my lease cars have gone back they didn't.
Re the service, well i think that was poor judgement on your part and sorry to say you may pay the cost of that.0 -
Any one have any idea how much Citreon charge for a missed service at the end of a PCP?0
