Help needed
standard protocol a parking charge notice has been received
However at the services someone who was there for longer hasn't received a parking charge notice, atm the fee is £60 and soon it goes up to £100.
however they have on the notice its states the car was leaving the car parking lot at 20.03 which it doesn't add up. Any help would be great thanks in advance

first task is edit your post and remove any hint of who was driving, so no
"MY , ME , MYSELF & I" - plead the fifth !! lol (nothing incriminating)
then read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread near the top of this forum , and use the appeal template in post #1
this charge does not "go up" , its £100 and discounted for an early payment and the ability to pay (or not) is irrelevant
lastly, all MSA,s have time limits, or almost all of them , not just the one the driver parked in , so check the signage in future
the fact somebody else hasnt got a PCN is irrelevant0 -
Why not follow the guidance offered in post #1 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread?
Send the blue text appeal found there.
Send it unchanged.
Send it as the keeper.
That's all there is to it at this stage.0 -
sorry to be a pain but i'm struggling to find the blue text appeal? i'm sure i'm just missing it but where would i find this ?
Thank you.0 -
Exactly where I said.
I even supplied a link for you.
I really cannot think of anything else that may make it easier for you to find.
Sorry.
Are you using a mobile telephone?0 -
I also pointed you in the right direction to find the sticky thread by coupon-mad
its also mentioned in my signature too
what was the period of parking that they allege ?
a typical MSA stay is 2 hours for free , so I assume that they allege it was 2 hours and 20 minutes for example ?
and how many days was it between the event and the postal notice arriving ?0 -

Thank you.
If you click on the link the blue template is the bit in blue.0 -
Gobsmacked... We give a link and even then, the poster can't see it. Whaaat?
CP Plus are a cinch to beat. It's in the NEWBIES FAQ what to do and when, and it will win. Don't ask us to re-type the advice here...please...please just read the sticky thread.
And please don't post the forum appeal here and ask 'is it this one/can you check my appeal'? We do not need to check the first appeal copied from the Sticky thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -
yes I was using my mobile! sorry to have been a pain its just for some reason the link wasn't showing up for some reason! A desktop is much easier to see things haha!
Thanks again!0 -
So the allocated free stay period was 2 hours and the alleged time lapse was - 2hours 31 minutes (31 minutes over the allocated time).
and the alleged offence happened on the 2nd August and the notice was given on the 8th August but the letter wasn't received until the 10th August.0 -
mobiles do not give the full info from the internet , they never have , they give a cut down version , hence why we tell people to use a laptop or a destop computer
so its a 31 minute overstay and they issued the NTK within the 14 days timeframe allowed
check it for POFA2012 wording as well (if after 29 days blah blah)0
