Right you'd prefer to commit fraud ..
Look, it's your life, do whatever you want.
I'd suggest that you atleast live together, and run a household, before you buy a house together. Being in a long distance relationship is massively different to living together.
Personally I think it's mad that young people are jumping head first into home ownership without any experience or skills.
Just look how many buying out my ex, we've separated how do we divide x, y or z threads there are on this sub forum.
Best of luck.
Thanks for the advice :T0 -
So as long as I have accounted for say £150-200 per month on petrol costs there shouldn't be too much of an issue?
90 x 2 x 20 = 3600 miles @ 40mg @ £5.44 a gallon = £489.
They will do postcode to postcode and work out the exact distance as they have done several times on our cases.

I will be relocating to Bristol, but we want to get a mortgage in place before I move jobs. I don't want to move and then wait 3-6 months of being in a new job before being able to apply for a mortgage.
Just FYI, Nationwide don't care if you're still in your probationary period when you apply - my partner and I were both in that position with our first purchase, they just wanted to see proof of contracted salary and any payslips we had available. We went via a broker, so maybe that helped - ask your broker if it's feasible.
It's also worth bearing in mind that if you got the mortgage before you moved and then struggled to find a job, you might be stuck when it comes to affording your mortgage, or owning a house you can't live in. I don't know what industry you're in, but job hunting always seems to take longer than planned.0
