Need help with my County Court Claim Form..

I received 5 tickets on the same week.. (stacked on top of each other)
They sent me 100s of letters regarding the seperate cases..
Read online to 'don't pay and don't worry about it'..
Now they have threatened me with an official looking letter from the moneyclaim.gov.uk claiming that I owe +£900..
I have applied for my 28 days..

(My story)
I parked here for a week while helping my girlfriend move into her new home.. There is nowhere to park within miles of Imperial Wharf/Fulham (London) for 24 hours.. So I figured private land was the best and only bet..

Any help is appreciated..
Thanks

any MCOL from Northampton CCBC is a valid claim, so you login , check it and do the AOS

the NEWBIES FAQ post #2 near the top of this forum is awash with court claim advice , so read it carefully, and the links , and draft your defence based on recent 2018 defences listed in other threads on here , then post the proposed draft below for critique

Look for Jopson v Homeguard in any defence example, and go and read the transcript from that appeal case, it's hosted by the Parking Prankster on his case law pages.

Search the forum for Jopson defence and adapt one to suit.

What was the relationship to where you parked to your G/F flat. Was it within the development or some random location once the moving was finished.

Were you moving her on all 5 occasions and was the parking always related to the action of moving - or had that finished by the time you parked.

Which parking company? Do you have pics of the signs?

  • "I think the amount stated is completely unreasonable.
I needed somewhere to park while my girlfriend moved into her new house.
I didn't know I couldn't be there and it is the only place
    within 2-3 miles.
When I came back to my car all receipts were left stacked on my
    windscreen.
I thought it was a scam so ignored them."

    Is that your draft Defence?

You need to re-read post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.
There are several example Defences linked from there.

What is the Date of Issue on your Claim Form?

Have you now done the Acknowledgement of Service as Redx suggested a week ago?

You haven't put that in as a defence yet, have you? It's weak, not a defence.
