Should the completed form be posted back to the court or scanned & emailed over like the defence?
Email it in the same manner and to the same email address that you sent your Defence.

And as nosferatu1001 says, remember to send a copy to the Claimant.

    Nothing will have happened yet.

It is only a week or so since the Directions Questionnaire was returned.

    Good evening all.

I returned a copy of the directions questionnaire to the court and Gladstones. The case has been transferred to my local court.

Today I recieved a letter from Gladstones saying they require proof of ID. I have recently gotten married and so completed the AOS and directions questionnaire using my new last name and including my maiden name in brackets on the cover letters.

Do I need to respond to this letter?

Pretty thick are the Gladstones boys .....
It's going to court so a question they can ask then.

Probably the judge will congratulate you on your marriage
and then give Gladstones yet another whooping

Take you marriage certificate with you

Yes, or simply respond that you have gotten married and have a new surname. There is no reason for them to require ID from you, so you will not be proviidng it. U

I emailed Gladstones to advise them that I was under no obligation to provide ID. They have replied saying that they will not update their records without proof of ID so would continue using my old name and put a note on my file that I was refusing to provide ID. They tried quoting GDPR at me but I maintained that I was not their client and had no contract with them so would not be providing anything.

Just point out that when the same person shows up in court, they are going to look pretty stupid to not deal with a common change of surname correctly.
