Am I in the right forum please?


MSE advise today to switch from BG.


Went into my CEC account, still showing I am in the middle of a switch going back to Feb.


Can not see how or who to ask to update this information.


I have swapped house gas and elec to Octopus.


However I have a third meter - gas, with BG and now want to check options, but can't see how to update my CEC page.


Advice please.

    I've cancelled my switch but it is still showing as 'in progress' on my account

    If you’ve cancelled your switch and it’s still showing as ‘in progress’ on your Cheap Energy Club account, it’s likely the supplier hasn’t let us know about the cancellation. You can contact us directly by emailing [EMAIL="energyclub@moneysavingexpert.com"]energyclub@moneysavingexpert.com[/EMAIL] with your account details, and we’ll remove the switch. You’ll then be able to compare and switch again.

    I'm not sure what you mean by having a third meter, a second gas meter.
    You should only have one gas meter at your residentail address. If you have more than one, you will experience many issues with most suppliers, and you'll unneccessarily be paying 2 lots of standing charges.

    Maybe this question applies?
    I've got another property, can I add it to my Cheap Energy Club Account?

    It's not something Cheap Energy Club can do at the moment; you'll have to set up a new account with a different email address.



    This ensures when users receive an email alert about possible savings, it’s specific to their account information. But it’s something we’re working on, so watch this space.
