MJB WineLodge - Zenith Collections - NPE Ltd -

Dear people
We booked a stay at MJB Winelodge which is situated above a row of shops in Oulton - the entrance to the Hotel was situated in a doorway in the corner within a row of shops the whole area was full of parking bays even directly outside. We went in to see if we were in the right place and to check our booking. We called Hotels to see who to check with as not obvious - They said the restaurant above MAMARIS would check our booking. To our consternation they didn't have it and so we called Hotels.com and after some little time varifying in the restaurant they realised they did in fact have the booking there was some mix up with their system. We brought our bags in and then I re-parked the car as I didn't like the look of the parking - A shop had a sign saying they had moved due to unreasonable parking restrictions. After our stay we brought the car back loaded our bags and went home. A few days later we have received 3 parking charges exceeding £100 two for our arrival and 1 for our departure. So far I have ignored them on advice, but now, from National Parking Enforcement has been passed to Zenith Collections offering 3 x Discounted offers of £136.00 each! Do Zenith go to court? Should i continue to ignore?

The correct question you should have asked is:Do National Parking Enforcement take people to court?
http://www.parkingappeals.info/companydata/National_Parking_Enforcement.html
(As at today's date, but they do have 6 years to pursue through the courts, so there's no guarantees that far into the future!)Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Ignoring DRP and Zenith (same company) will result in another letter next from Gladstones on behalf of DRP. That can be safely ignored too.0
