Thank you beautiful people for helping me navigate the compensation maze. Stobart air paying me over £220 for a 3.5 hour delay to manchester. The flight was just £25 so happy days. I sent to flybe who forwarded to stobart who gave me the refund.

My student daughter got a payout too. Stobart are working with flybe. Flybe is a franchise and they sent the claim to stobart who payed. I went through resolver. Funny enough she just went to menorca and again delayed 4 hours with easyjet and claiming again not sure how much she will get though. Thank you again to all those involved.

A word of warning. If you fly Flybe from Southend the operator is Stobart Air. We had flight denial followed by flight cancellation, followed by flight delayed by 4 hours landing. For the 36 hours we spent at Southend airport Stobart staff blamed all the problems on Flybe. Made claim to Flybe who forwarded it to Stobart as the responsible carrier. Some compensation has been offered by Stobart but not for the delay.
