Thomas Cook and their misleading information all the time! They didn't tell this poor holidaymaker that Spain would have Spanish people - Holiday to Spain ruined by "too many Spaniards in hotel"

On a more serious note, this is a minor change to the holiday. Thomas Cook's T&C's probably cover them for errors in their brochures/website. In any event I doubt they will consider this a major holiday change that would trigger compensation.

For a £2500 holiday did you not do anymore research than the Thomas Cook brochure/website? It isn't the 70s/80s/90s where all we have to go on is the tour operators own words in their brochure. There is a wealth of information out there to do your own research before spending thousands!

You can get in touch with Thomas Cook and express your displeasure and see if you can get them to give you anything - but in all honestly don't expect too much.

The hotel has been there for over 30 years and the beach does not move over night..
No - but the route to the beach may have - i.e. a short cut may have been closed.
  • We noticed a few closed down bars in Lanzarote during our last visit.

Perhaps the 5 bars mentioned have reduced to 3 since the original resort description was drafted ?

Whatever, it's hardly a matter to make an issue of.
