WilliamHill Do not gamble!!!!!!!

I placed a bet with William hill. In the shop on the machine before the match started. I normally use paddy power shops but because I was near a William hill shop I used the machine to place a bet. The match was delayed and normally with paddy power if I ring the customer service before the match they would void the bet.
I rang william hill before the match to void it as it was delayed . I asked the agent if she could please void it if she said no i would of accepted it but she said that bet has been void and that the money should be returned by the morning.
I tracked my bet on my phone and it was closed and settled but the money was not unavailable. The match was played at night where the player lost. The next day even after they voided my bet they said they are not giving my money back because the player lost. I told them that i voided the bet before the match and i got print screen which i can show you here showing the bet being closed and in my settled folder before the match.
I spoke to aldii at customer service on thursday and he said if i go back to the shop and explain what happened as a gesture of good will they refund the bet. I was at work on thursday so i went to the bookies on friday where i was meant to meet the manager nicki.
She didnt know what happened so i rang customer support again and they confirmed i would be refunded as a gesture of goodwill. I told the customer relation to please ring the shop and explain and the lady rang the shop where nicki and customer relation lady had a 45 mins chat trying to find a way not to pay me out. Nicki from william hill in hanwell came back to say that she and william hill do not want to pay me back.
Natashe, beth, becky all confirmed as a gesture of good will they would refund me.
Aldi also said i would be refunded they made me go to the bookies and wait for 1 hour i was so angry i can't believe they would do this to a regular customer.
I betted so much money with them i place over 500 bets last 2 moths and this is the way they treat customers.
If the lady said on wedesday she couldnt void it i would of accept this but she said its been voided and that when i took a picture of my bet showing it being closed before the match started.
After i visited the shop they said they dont want to pay my stake as goodwill gesture . The told me they didnt record the call i made on wedesday even though i have phones records and also print screening showing the bet been settled in my close folder.

Where does Aldi come into this?
At the beginning you say that you normally use Paddy Power then at the end you say you have betted 500 times at WH in 2 months - which is it?
There are so many errors in the post it is understandable if WH and the OP got into a pickle about this bet.0 -
Aldi was the name of the agent at william hill. I am gambling addict so 500 bets in 2 months with william hill is normal as I place around 1200 with paddy power hence why they lost my custom0

You admit that you're a 'gambling addict' which is unusual. Some questions if you please: do you realise exactly what happens, these days, at the high street bookies, if or when your luck should change, and you win more than a few in a row?
Two decades back it was common to read reports in the newspapers of how the little guy won big down at the bookies. Do you know why those stories just aren't appearing any more?
Even worse than your being a problem gambler these days, is the knowledge that you have zero chance. But don't get this poster wrong, I'm all for fair gambling. If most lose and a few consistently win, or the occasional small guy reversed his luck, and it made the papers, well that is how it used always to be.
However, not only is it no fun to lose consistently, but the changes in the high st bookies over the past two decades should (and I hope it does) make you realise something. It used to be that because the house always wins, the odd big win or a guy who got consistently lucky was, for the high street bookies, no problem at all: "He'll tell all his friends, and we'll make it back from them" was the old philosophy. Pure greed changed all that. Aye, it used to be... this poster just hopes that those thoughts take you to the next step, and I wish you luck and wisdom. Take the message above for what it really is, and do it. GL!0 -
Please, just change the thread title to "Do not gamble." I'm sure you've better things to do with that £17000

You really think William Hill only have 600 customer? They’ll have more than that a day. It’s a drop in the ocean.
I’m not sure what you are trying to say in your last two messages. If you are trying to say the gambling counsel hasn’t done anything, then I’m not surprised. WH haven’t done anything wrong and 600 complaints by upset people who lost bets won’t help.
If you are an addict, seek help.0 -
If I ever need to make a bet I use William Hill online, works for me.0
