Smashing blouse, do you just have the sausages with rice or do you have extras?
I'm asking because i've got some pork and leek sausages and really havent a clue what to put with them except mash which me and my son dont like.

Just the savoury rice. There are 3 of us so I generally but 2 packets and it is more than enough. This is my DH and DD's favourite meal!!

Ive not done my meal plan yet. Im still trying to discover meals I can do without using my oven (due to the oven door is broken), but hopefully a new cooker should arrive next week.

it wil most likely be something like:
    saturday - spag bol
sunday - roast chicken (pre-cooked from s-market) veg & mash
    Monday - Sausage & Mash
Tuesday - chicken curry & rice or homemade chips
    Wednesday - cheese omlette
Thursday - Chicken, bacon, mushroom in Campbells mushroom soup with pasta
Friday - usually small takeaway for me & OH, as kids are at their dads

OH has been taking pre-cooked frozen meals to work each day, so Im hoping as soon as the cooker arrives, I can start batch cooking again, and stock the freezer again.

we've been living on casseroles/stews for the last 2 weeks, and Im getting fed up now!
