  • I've been with Newnet since July. Absolutely no problems, constant speeds of around 3000 kbps 24/7. I checked out the ISP forums at https://www.thinkbroadband.com before I made my choice and saw Newnet attracted very few negative posts. Bit pricey but with 3 pcs in the house all in use in the evening any drop in speed due to traffic shaping, FUPs or any other shady practices would grind things to a halt.

I've been with Plusnet for about 7 years & they have been excellent.
Only ever had 2 problems & they sent an engineer out to fix it both times.

I tend to get about 6mb on average.

There are good member referrals at the moment so if you want a referral then pm me - it earns me £20.

    Otherwise try

    or
    http://www.quidco.com/plus-net/

    This earns you £23

I'm with Madasafish which have been good but not cheap. I'm thinking about moving to Newnet. My mum signed up with them about 6 months ago and had no problems at all once she was set up. Their customer service to change the settings for the set up was outstanding and they even called back (unexpected) to check everything was ok a couple of days later.

I've been with Newnet several months now and would definitely recommend. We pay around £17.99 for up to 12 GB bandwidth per month. Experienced very few problems. A few months ago I emailed their support for something minor and couldn't believe it when they phoned back within a few minutes, giving me the answer.

Not many other ISPs give such excellent service, highly recommended!
