Yes, correct, but with the headings and statement of truth, signature and date.

And your partner, being a witness, should attend the hearing with you.

    Hi All,

I'm pretty much set to file my WS's & evidence etc. I have a few more questions please: -

I have until the 17th April to submit my WS's & bundle. Should I hold off submitting everything until the claimant serves me their copy?

I have video footage as part of my bundle. How should I send this to the court?

    Cheers

Yes, because you could get the chance to pull it apart.

On a USB stick attached to your ring binder file of papers (hand deliver it). And on the day, take your own laptop or tablet and be ready to play it...if the Judge lets you...

    Hi All,

Can anyone provide a link to which I can use specifically for the below - specifically naming and shaming BW Legal please?: -

"Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, (especially Smart}, and others have already been named and shamed in the House of Commons as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week), hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct"

    Many thanks

Who is it designed for? It’s a bit of a rant that is unlikely to have any bearing on whether a parking charge is legitimate or not.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

    Cheers Umkomaas,

Typically BW have sent me their Witness Statement without enough time to really pick it apart. In my defence I have mention that they have been reported to the regulatory authority. They have basically argued that it isn't true but haven't put me to strict proof. However, if this is brought up I shall just highlight that I didn't receive their witness statement with enough time to argue this point.

    Cheers

    Takes about an hour.

You do realise that every reporting we are aware of has seen BWL exonerated by the SRA. In which case the Judge might wonder why you’ve raised this, as the findings of the SRA support BWL’s position rather than yours.

Remember Judges are lawyers too, and belong to much the same club.

Oh...no I didn’t know that. Thank you for highlighting this though. Thankfully they haven’t harped in about it just denied it and I’m focusing on the fact that they have been reported for unprofessional conduct.

I do see it mentioned on a lot of new threads though and no disrespect to you guys but it could be misleading to newbies.

    Many thanks as always,
