Help Please - Which 3 Mobile Add On
Hi
I am with three and have just set up my AOL email account. Can anyone tell me which Add-on its best to get to cover the cost of using it. I phoned three and they suggested the Internet Max add-on. Can anyone tell me if downloading AOL e-mail to my phone is definitely covered by this add-on
Thanks

If you have an x-series mobile then its better to get x-series silver as thats £5 a month too and unlimited internet is included as well as other things like Skype. I can confirm that this includes ANY net access as I use many different programmes such as gmail, maps, etc etc (there is a fair usage amount but its something like 1gb which you would never reach through email - email would probably be about 20mbish a month if you use it a fair bit. Three used to have a closed portal many moons ago but now its open to pretty much anything.
There is a £2.50 10mb option but thats definitely not enough unless you would rarely use it.0 -
Forgot to say if you go into a 3 shop and get x-series gold at £10 per month you can get a free slingbox worth £100 (min. 12 months applies, effectively making the add on only £20 for the year). Depends which store you go into as I went into my local and they said 'new customers only' so popped into a London branch when there and they gave me one straight away.0

Thanks, I have went and bought the internet max bundle and enabled push e-mail, I'll keep an eye on my additional spend for the next week or so. Your post about x-series gold, do you get the free slingbox even if you already have an existing contract. Also am I right in thinking if I set up my slingbox it would be possible for someone in Canada to access it?0

Yes you can get the free slingbox even if you already have a contract but some 3 shops get arsey as there is no benefit to them in doing it - basically they have to ring up 3 CS and add it on and make sure they tie you in for 12 months then give you a slingbox (which are sometimes in short supply so they want to save them for new customers), London shop was very helpful though.
Yes the slingbox means you can watch tv on your mobile or any internet source in the world.0 -
