Shoe shops - Saxone, Dolcis, Freeman,Hardy & Willis, Stead & Simpson, Trueform and Barratts.

A lot of them BSC brands.

    I think they're all gone.

I didn't realise Dolcis and Barratts had gone, probably a reflection of how rarely I visit a High Street or shopping centre.

Saw a K Shoes sign today -- here it is in fact

Seemed like a logo from the past. Have they gone under?

Also Dôme. Sort of vintage French arthouse style cafes.

Never heard of Dosme but according to Wikipedia it's an Australian chain and still going strong. It doesn't look like it was ever a major presence on British high streets.

That's interesting, they look sort-of similar though the british ones were more 1960s style. The ozzie ones started in 1991 whereas the UK ones came earlier I think. The Dôme in my home city turned into a Caf! Rouge so don't know if they bought them up?

Tie Rack - I don't know how I forget them as I used to work in one many moons ago. I also seem to recall the Sock Shop which was owned by someone who used to work for Tie Rack.

I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?
