    I had similar happen to me recently, although I caught them in the act.
    I was looking out my window when I saw a German Sheppard doing his dirty business on my front lawn, I shooed him off but he did the very same thing the next day, but this time he brought his dog!

    Well i caught the big tabby in the act today........it was looking the other way so i caught him right on the ar5e with a super soaker pump action water gun filled with cold water and a little white vinegar........the look on its face was priceless

    Lol Gardner1 bet it was worth picking up the mess to see that........... maybe it won't come back now but a least you know it's not a dog/neighbour thing

    Gardner1 isn't the OP though so we're still none the wiser as to that situation.

  • Have looked up pictures of Fox poo and these do not look like the ones I found, four were like small black sausages pointed at both ends and one was light brown. Have cleaned the area with Harpic and sprayed the entrance with dog and cat off.

    Sounds exactly like fox poo to me, the lighter one being after consuming a Wood Mouse.
