Afternoon all
Lots of love to all those struggling at the moment - with work, health or anything else. I too have spent much of this weekend a bit below par. No reason, other than probably a bit run down - I was in a heck of a mood yesterday, and then today I've just had one minor disaster after another. I ended up in a heap on the floor after slipping in the kitchen and I'm still struggling with pain in my hip - not great when I have another 3 days of walking about Alton Towers coming up. I'm ok if I'm not trying to move.
Anyway, no more self pity... I've managed to bag a couple of nsd's over the weekend - much needed. Healthy eating is going well, as was being active until a couple of hours ago. Plus I've managed a couple of relaxing days in between trips. Got caught up on my washing, and tidied the house.
Still need to pack as we're leaving early tomorrow, and I also need to make sure I leave the house at least half tidy - no cleaner this week. Best get a move on then. Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Hugs to all who have struggles today.
CLF I made it back from the moor. Thanks. :rotfl: I thought I would get another wear out of my lightweight rainmac that I haven't worn for a couple of years. Only to find it has lost it's waterproofing! Finished my 8km moorland run feeling like a drowned rat. :rotfl: Then missed the train I was going to take one-stop home by 2 minutes. Luckily DW was able to drive the 5 miles and pick me up. I couldn't face an hour's wait soaked to the skin.
So I now need to either buy another rainmac or buy waterproofing spray, both of which costs a similar amount.
Came home and had a long shower and then put the electric fire on in the sitting room for 15 mins. Not very MSE but necessary. Then fell asleep in the sitting room watching Netflix after finishing off the remains of a bottle of red wine we bought for Decemberfest but didn't consume.
It was worth it though. I've been dying to try that route for weeks.
Then DW cooked tapas and churros instead of going round the corner to the Tapas Bar and I have just made a homemade smoothie.

Wow, you lot have been in the wars haven't you. I was going to say, stay inside, but in cats case that doesn't necessarily mean it'll protect you. Think CLF idea is the best :rotfl:
Expensive day yesterday. Ended up buying food out which I was hoping to avoid but we were at the behest of others. We did get free entry to an event saving us £25 though and the food wasn't total rubbish that you sometimes find at such events. Evening was also pricey (but planned) for a very special to us persons birthday. We saved money but me drinking water from table (was driving) and DH stretched 3 beers over 5 hoursplenary for the memory bank on both cases. anyway, onto other things and today. I have:
Roast dinner with leftovers for tomorrow for fry up, means tomorrow tea can be deferred
Made pudding all from store cupboard ingredients, including foraged jam
MIL presents bought a while ago dug out and wrapped with paper from stash
Quick tidy round
Went to h0me bargains and got some items that I know were cheaper there
Used moc te$co
Paid some money I'd borrowed back to dd piggy bank
Tried some clothes on I'd ordered online, lots going back
Sewed lining up in dd dress
Trying a tip from a running site to get smell out of some much loved kit to prolong its life.
Watching box set on netfl1x subscription
DH and I both have leftovers for lunch tomorrow, I've found a hm soup portion in freezer
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday peeps - and stay safe.0 -

* Turn alarm clock off at the wall til tonight. Done.
I have an electric alarm clock with and automatic radio controlled time reset. The bedroom isn't used during the day so I turned off the alarm clock during the day. When I turn it back on at dusk it resets the time itself. That way I don't pay electricity to run the clock during the day.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -
