O2 top up frustration
I have just got the pay as you go o2 sim card. Rang the 4444 number to top up with debit card. Got to payment stage and unsuccessful. Card ok, bank in credit etc. Tried credit card and the same happened. Phoned the 4445 number to actually speak to someone and it automatically flips me back to the menu for topping up as I have zero credit. Round and round in circles and cannot top up with 2 valid cards with no reason given.
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how do you speak to someone ?

Top up with a voucher from a corner shop? Also you can top up on line.0

o2 have been crucified over the last few years for their lack of security on debit card top-ups. Is your SIM card registered to the same address as the debit card? Perhaps you need to register the debit card before use? Either try the transaction online (which may have more detailed instructions) or talk to Customer Services.0

A friend uses O2 PAYG (Classic) at 3p per min, 2p per text. Are they planning to change this?0 -
