Hi Quentin, I am sure, got ticket in 2014 as per #2 got 10 digit verification code after appealing with PPS and failed both as based on excessive amount only at a time.0
-
I could send you code if interested but you cannot receive private messages as got reply you got to clear some space first. Not sure if it is reasonable to share it here, but yes I failed Popla appeal in 2014.0
-
Of course you did, that was back when PPS were in the BPA.
No need to discuss an old 2014 PPS POPLA case that can't be compared to an IPC case, with no POPLA.
Can we stop IPC threads and replies please? They only need help at court stage.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello Coupon-mad plus others willing to help out. I received court paperwork for £269.26 incl.8% interest rate, court fee of 25, legal representative costs of 50...
What should be my defence in this stage please?
Thank you for your help0 -
Ah, now you are talking. Now you need our help.
You have a court claim so go and read the second post in the NEWBIES thread, which tells you:
- what happens when, and how to file AOS, then defence, then DQ, then Witness Statement. AOS comes first and the sticky thread has a pictorial walk through PDF link.
Then you need to come back here and tell us you've done the AOS, and what the date of the claim form is - and show us your draft defence based on the sticky thread examples.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you, AOS filed, am working on defence now...It will be quite a job. Well not sure if it helps that Premier Parking Solutions limited do not have any machine or signs there anymore, shortly after 2014 it has changed owner, so that it was not possible to contact landowner, I failed Popla at a time, but since then, but then they changed to IPC and I could say that there were no signs saying or allowing some time to park, and I have proof that the difference between first ticket and second ticket is 10 minutes except from litigating factor of me not feeling well as in the past I was suffering with anxiety/depression ( 2009), had some medication for it, since then I do not take any medication, but if I do not feel fir to drive, I take some mental break for safety of mine and others in car and on the road.
I do not have proof of cheque I sent when I wanted to pay£10 when they wanted £60, they refused and wanted £100. Popla appeal failed as I based it on excessive charges. I am not sure which way law works, because in 2014 nobody was mentioning 10 mins allowance like City council, later on also grace period within private land. Of course signs did not mention this, but there is nothing written how long it should take me to buy another ticket, come to my car and replace ( extend ticket)... Just some info if to include this in my defence, which I will be working on...
Thank you0 -

If there has been a change which led to the removal of the machines, it is likely that PPS were only using it as a car park between developers. If you search the local planning applications you should be able to see if PPS were the occupiers or working for the occupiers at the time.
PPS often take empty undeveloped sites and apply for planning for / use them as car parks. See what planning turns up.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Use the members search to find each one of those posters, or simply browse back half a dozen or more pages to find their threads.
Same as you, all have been part of the latest PPS claim batch and you can all support each other. You will see them show their draft defences shortly and you can learn from them, and can copy and adapt what you see on their threads.
As long as you do the AOS, it buys you an extra 14 days to defend.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
