To celebrate the publication of "The QI Book of Animal Ignorance" and the upcoming "QI Annual", we've teamed up with Faber and Faber to give you the chance to win a pair of tickets to the recording of an episode of QI in spring 2007 (date tbc).
The Book of Animal Ignorance is a fact-packed odyssey around the odder end of the animal kingdom, illustrated throughout by Ted Dewan. If you don’t know your asp from your elephant then this is the natural selection for you. It features a foreword by the inimitable Stephen Fry and a Fore Paw by the irreplaceable Alan Davies. And the QI Annual (published November) is a hilarious celeb-packed gift book for Christmas, written and illustrated by many guests from the show including Jo Brand, Bill Bailey, Clive Anderson, Rich Hall and Jimmy Carr, and cartoonists from Viz, Private Eye and Spitting Image.
Question: Which animal was the subject of a bonus question in every episode of the 2007 series of QI?
Answer: Elephant
Good Luck

Fantastic!! QI is quite brilliant & hilarious - would love to see what doesn't make it into the show

Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out

Thanks for posting kipper
I took my OH to see the explorer's episode. I had muscle ache the next day in the tummy region from laughing so much.
BTW pssssst for all who don't know yet. tickets to most TV shows are free! Lots of these shows would work less well without an audience being there. Certain tv channels will give away tickets to see their shows recorded in promotions or comps, or they can even be booked on their websites.
QI, however, is being handled by a company who organises audiences for loads of TV shows (ready steady cook, cirque de celebrite, friday night project, the x factor, the brit awards 2008, etc)
You have to register (it's free) and then you can request free tickets to their shows. sometimes there will be no tickets left and you get put on a reserve list. I've received tickets once 2 days prior to a recording (wasn't able to attend unfortunately). You can also sign up to their 'gold' membership which will get you priority treatment (OH and I are considering that)
